Since we're over two months from spring I suppose we'll call today's Marine Area 9 (Admiralty Inlet) lid-lifter the "Winter Opener".

I'll just call it "good fishing" and a great way to get a few more hours of fishing practice under my belt on the new Weldcraft known as Great White.

We hooked eight and boated three after losing a couple to the pesky pinnipeds... tommygun
Here's a couple fatties in the fishbox!

Coho killers behind Luhr Jensen's Blue Crush UV flashers were the hot gear and we fished Possession Bar on this morning's ebb tide. I also heard good reports from Midchannel Bank.

It's game on out there gang! Go get 'em and see you at the Seattle Boat Show next week1 cheers

We did good, too. Small green splatter back Kingfisher Light was lucky for me. No sub-legals and no wild fish today. Several hit-and-runs and a couple lost fish. Boat limit of six fish between 6.5 and 8lbs. And no fog.
