When the selective kings opened up 5-6 years ago foulweather was a killer spot. In years past not so much. Never know though as everything changes from year to year. On the flood I like to set up on the east side next to the red can and troll south into skunk bay. Big spoons have done good for me there. Lots of herring in the area... as I see the "Jerrys Bait" guy from Mats Mats in there from time to time...good luck dude..

Wow!
Brandon said a mouthful!!!
Not only do I agree with everything he said but I would add that you need to look at the Marine Area 9 Regulations. There is a chinook closure extending from Foulweather into Hood Canal. Check it out!

I've followed the site for awhile but this is my first post. With that being said, I've fished area 9 a couple times in the last couple of weeks and have found kings at pretty much every spot. I haven't been to foul weather or skunk bay but I wouldn't be surprised if you find some fish. Can't wait for next week!!!
