I think the coastal fishing is on the up swing.... "I think" Finally a few fish are around, it's not on fire, but there are a few pockets of fish some guys are finding. Also, location, "Right time right spot". I didn't have a great day yesterday, but I know a few guys who did, only a few. Most are still not finding Kings and only a few Coho. That being said, the nets are out and the rain and this cold air, is keeping the rivers in great conditions. The next few weeks, could finally get good, good, good....

Sounds like it's been tough duty out there man. Canyon Man got lucky and dropped into some chromers out there yesterday. He seems to get "lucky" all the time...or maybe he's just good. The guy sure is fishy thumbup

I'm sure things will improve out there and pressure should start to drop off too. Can't wait to get this tiller installed on the new sled for another mode of transportatione' gears

You hit that right Robbo, Canyon Man dropped in right next to me while my guys were fighting a fish. When we were done, I noticed he had rods out, so I told the guys, we'll try to hold it here in the fast seam. Well as it turns out, not to good. If it would have been anyone else who I didn't know, I would have asked them to move on. I didn't get there at 5:30 to fish where I fished, but I really thought we would pull some out. ;) I finally had to move on. Scott did good, and you are right, he is a good fisherman He banged a King and Coho while I was there and was able to pull a couple more after I left. I talked to two other guys who had Kings. One guy hit a pod coming through and flat out crushed it. 5 fish in 5 passes, kept 3 blingers 20#, 25# and a 30# all hens all snow white bellies. He knew he just fell into them. That being said, James is a good fishermen. Other then Scott and James, no one else faired to well. I'm sitting here at camp, all the guys are back and the reports are mixed. Some area's again today fishing OK, others so so much...

More reports after tomorrow......

I wouldn't say luck Scott on Wed/Thurs.... You had a good plan, we finally had some fish moving and you put it all together. That usually equals success. Good job man, that was a couple good days. Now we are blown off for a bit, I'm heading back home and it will probably be a good week or so with the weather we got coming. Glad you got those few days in, it's been one of those seasons so far but that should change once this water fianlly drops. November should be EPIC... :D :D

Couldn't agree more Medium D...but I have no problem sticking with luck :D . Only asking for 7 or 8 more days of it this fall. No matter what you do right or wrong there is always a bit of luck involved too. We all prepare and try to optimize our chances by doing the little things that many times lead to success and you, being one of the top sticks out there know how to get it done...however no matter if you are a top stick or a newby, luck is one of those invariables that is always welcome!

See you back on the water after the drop...as always I will keep you updated on what I am seeing!
