Well, what a day!!! We hooked 8 fish and landed 4 for a limit. I have noted to myself, make sure you sharpen hooks, before letting down the downrigger. The first 4 fish that were hooked that came off were before 730am. The lure de jour was green splatter back ace/hi fly with a chartreuse hot spot flasher, that got 7 fish, and army truck ace/hi, with a green hot spot flasher got the other.

Off to Vegas with the wife for a conference.

Thanks for contributing to the crowds with that report. Some people wonder why this area has become so crowded. Maybe its me but I just don't get it, what good does it do you to blab away with all the details of fish you caught.

Heard you talking nonstop (ch.68) about every fish you caught and what you caught it on. Also heard the guy that had 10 boats in a caravan from a fishing club ask where all these reports were coming from and heard you answer "Craven". Thanks for that! Not that its a secret but how many boats do you think this area can hold. Nelly has already done a good job getting his followers and the crowds to areas like this.

Just don't get it. Are you looking for people to reply "Good Job", "Right on Man", "Wow you're a great fisherman".

Omega 3-

Dude, unfortunately that was not my Dad and I. We are more mature than that and much more professional. Those guys you heard on the radio, are a group of older gentlemen one in a gray Hewes Craft that do that every year.

I suggest that before you throw stones at a glass house, you look to make sure it is the right house.

We are in a 232 Grady White, if you want any help and you see us, just ask, I hold no secrets.

Hey Omega, COOL IT BROTHA!!!!

every time I get involved in a new forum someone has to be Bitching at someone else for posting a report. In case some of you dont know, posting a report is what this forum was designed for. If some of you dont like their "secret spots" revealed than dont join these things or you will always be dissapointed. As for Nelly attracting a big crowd, yes he does, but thas the business he is in. Him and his crew talk this stuff every saturday morning, I for one tune in every show to find out whats going on out there. lets keep the negative vibes out, and go catch some fish. SO THERE!!! wave

Im gonna take a different look on this one... The crowds is actually pretty comical for me. It makes for some great laughs on the water seeing some things that just blow my mind. Very cheap enterainment. Never heard of craven rock though?? Ive still been too busy tryin to find Omega's secret spots.

Hey guys. I finally joined the forum this morning. I've been a listener/reader since the beginning of The Outdoor Line, with Nelly, Robbo, & Tobeck... And now Duane. I had to join because I'm tired of this Omega 3 guy and his whining. I've fished with Nelly back in the day as Skagit River Outfitters, and learned a lot about steelheading on the Skagit from Nurm. I've learned a lot of new things about fishing the Salt Chuck from you all on this forum as well. I enjoy reading your stories, and hope to share some of mine as well. I appreciate your input and hope we can all help each other have a successful season. See ya on the salt.

Don't give up on the Admiralty Inlet yet guys. We hooked 7 kings in east Port Angeles yesterday. Might be a few more fish sliding into mcb.
