Port Townsend Opener

Team Cut Plug took the 45 minute boat ride up to Port Townsend for the opener this morning. At 5:15 We dropped the Bottom tracking Cannon down riggers and the cut plug herring out the back 25 feet out. The first fish came at 6:00 and was a constant bite till 8:15 when we limited with 6 dandy kings. We also released a 20" hatchery king. 100% of the fish caught were on bottom track in the 70-120 foot range. Herring didn't even get a bump. We used a silver horde spoon and Q cove flashers that are shown in the picture below. All in all it was an awesome day for team Cut Plug.
