A buddy and I fished the rough waters of the staits for 2 days and on Saturday we decide to move in and find a place to sit down out of the wind for a half day of fishing on Saturday. Well 10 minutes into the morning Don Wood hooks this big one. After a 40 minute fight we unhooked from the anchor and went on the chase. Ended up with this 140 lb 65 in. halibut. Fished black label harring on the hook.
