Dave Pitcher of http://www.simshonda.com knows that the clock is ticking away in Marine Area 9.

Dave spent his Easter Sunday on Midchannel Bank and was rewarded by this fine limit of blackmouth!

Dave mentioned that he was marking "tons of bait" and overall boat traffic was fairly light. Coho Killers trolled in the dirt was the drill!

Area 9 closes next Sunday...better get crackin' and you can take that to the bank

nicely done! I hit the tide change on saturday but couldn't find the fish. About 30 boats fishing no nets up. thumbup

I was up that way to over the weekend!! Same thing coho killers draggin the bottom!! I was a bit south though. Next to this rock..

Ahhhh, I know that rock. Great area. Congrats on a great day. Also, glad to here that there was bait showing. Maybe a good sign for the upcoming summer. Not much bait there last year to hold fish.

PS: I'll be out in area 9 Sunday too. Not sure I'll make it all the way to Midchannel though.
