We made our first trip to the big C on Saturday. The weather was an incredible 60 degrees and super sunny. The fishing was not half bad either, we ended up with 2 in the box. Both fish came on a cutplug herring behind a red mini fish flash just below the I-5 bridge. All in all the fishing was not steller, it was just good enough to keep me interested. We saw approximately a dozen fish caught and noticed that the bite was scattered, deep, shallow, during the tide and full outgoing. It seems as though the fish are coming..... :D

This 30.5 lb monster springer was caught on March 23rd with a quickfish near Portland Intl. Airport. No more hints on the location. The measurements were 42 inches long with a 24 inch girth. This was day three of our fishing adventure and it blew our average weight of 22lbs, for the previous five fish caught, out of the water.
